Earth Hour 2021: March 27 from 8:30PM to 9:30PM Local Time
Every year around the globe, in more than 7000 cities and 190 countries, hundreds of millions of people take part in Earth Hour by ‘switching off’ for 60 minutes, as a symbolic gesture of solidarity to show they care about our planet’s future. Each year, thousands of Hilton Hotels around the globe take part in the 60 minutes and find creative ways to participate and raise awareness of climate change and energy reduction with their guests, team members and the wider community.
Fun fact: The original concept of Earth Hour was born during a WWF meeting hosted at Hilton Sydney.
The idea behind Earth Hour is that simple steps i.e. switching off lights can make a big different to address climate change. This ideology truly aligns with Hilton’s passion and commitment to sustainability and reducing our footprint. Our goal is to cut our environmental footprint in half by 2030.

Earth Hour Special Event
We invite you gather friends and family and join us in our lobby, lit up with glow-lights and candles, in demonstration of your support for the future of our planet. During this very special hour, you’ll be treated to the mellifluous, acoustic sounds of singer/songwriter Jordan Abraham, restaurant specials that are created with sustainably and locally sourced ingredients, organic wines and our special Earth Hour cocktail: Earth Sour.
